Overview of Current Studies
The GCRC has approximately 100 active studies at any given time, representing about 20 different research areas and more than 40 investigators. The graph below shows the utilization of GCRC resources by research area for the time period of 4/1/2006 thru 3/31/2007. Several research areas have multiple protocols that are active at the same time. This graph combines both inpatient and outpatient activity into a single graph.
If you are looking for a specific type of study or are interested in becoming a normal control on a study, please check out the UTHSCSA Clinical Studies database: http://studies.uthscsa.edu/listtrials.asp. Please note that not all of these studies are performed on the GCRC; they may be performed at other locations either on or off campus. For questions pertaining to a specific study, please contact the person listed in the study description.
