The
GCRC
is available to all physicians with appointments at this hospital for
veteran patients who require special diagnostic and treatment programs.
Under a sharing agreement with the University of Texas Health Science
Center, it is also a General Clinical Research Center (GCRC), funded by a
grant to the Department of Medicine from the National Institutes of Health.
The Bartter
GCRC is a general or non-categorical facility and, as such, has no
limitation on the type of research or the patient disease category. The GCRC
welcomes research protocols from all departments of the Health Science
Center.
